having a good day so far!

So last night I did go grocery shopping, I did pre-cook some turkey for lunches but I didn't organize our laundry. I DID clean up the snow much better than I planned though. I intended on doing a quick job on it and cleaning it up when I have more time, but I never seem to have more time - well time that I feel like doing it, so I sucked it up and completely cleared everything! That made me feel pretty good and more organized.

What side-tracked me from doing the laundry was: We FINALLY got our upgrade book for our house! We spent most of the night checking out all of our options, making must-have lists and would-be-nice lists.... Needless to say, we have a few questions for the designer to make our final decision on upgrades. There will be some, but we'll have to wait and see how many!

The eating today has been going very well. Kirk is also on board with everything I'm doing with cleaning up our diet. I'm looking forward to hearing from him to see how he feels about the lunch he brought to work. I hope it was enough food for him.

The plan for the next two weeks is:

This week we will be cleaning up our diet and getting rid of that bloated, sluggish feeling. Sunday night will have to be a cheat meal for me because I have plans to have a girls night with two of my best girls, Natalie and Brett. We are meeting at Bretts house where she will be making a wonderful dinner for us. I am SO looking forward to it. There will be great eats, great wine and of course some awesome laughs!

Next week both Kirk and I are on vacation. We will be using that week to set up our workout programs and get back in the gym. The rest of the day is for rest and relaxation. I am really looking forward to sleeping in! The most important thing that I'm going to have to watch is our eating. When we're at home and free to grab whatever we see, we tend to not make very good choices. So I will be keeping a close eye on that.
