Hi All!!
It's been a few days, but we've been keepin' at it! We both feel so good. Kirk made the comment to me this morning that for the past week, he has been having more good days than bad. That's an awesome sign! He says he handles pressure and 'screwups' at work much better, and he's not crashing (tired) during his night shifts. Wooooo!!! I'm so happy!
Last weekend was awesome! We went to the gym both days in the morning. It felt so good to get it overwith first thing so we didn't have to worry about it for the rest of the day. Our 'Gramma Birthday Lunch' was alot of fun. I had a chicken club sandwich on brown bread. Not too bad.... Sunday we did legs in the morning, then we went to the National Home Show and walked our butts off there. The show was great fun with our friends. We wandered around, getting lots of ideas for design for our new house. I LOVE the backyard designs and there seemed to be alot of them there. I really want - someday - to have an outdoor fireplace. I think it looks so cozy!
After the show we all went out to a really nice restaurant and had a great dinner. I had a small steak, brown rice and fresh veggies, although I did eat some garlic bread to start - and some wine.... :P Ah well, all in moderation. This past week we have been awesome with food. I took Monday night off the gym because I'm sick and Monday was the day it started, so I wanted to get home and go to bed early. Tuesday and yesterday Kirk and I went to the gym together and tonight I think I'm gonna drag his butt in his first Spin class. :) I'm still a bit sore everywhere so I have no weights I can do tonight, so I guess I'll have to do some cardio... lol
